Sharon Quinlan joins Barclays as Head of Structured Property Debt Finance, London

Barclays has appointed Sharon Quinlan as Head of Structured Property, London within the debt finance team.

Sharon joins Barclays from Bank of Ireland where she was Head of Business Banking, responsible for running the UK commercial banking franchise. Prior to joining Bank of Ireland, Sharon spent over 15 years at Barclays working across UK origination for real estate finance at Barclays Capital and property finance within the corporate banking team.

In her new role, Sharon will be responsible for supporting the bank’s real estate clients with their debt finance needs and expanding the quality and size of the London commercial property lending portfolio.

Sharon takes over the role from Richard Payne who has been at Barclays for over 38 years and will continue to work part time within the structured property debt finance team as a consultant.
