Barclays strengthens its Funds and Asset Managers team with new appointment

Barclays has appointed Andrew Fenton as Director, Funds and Asset Managers, within its Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) team, based in London.

At Barclays, Fenton will work closely with Barclays investment banking and wealth management arms to develop and strengthen Barclays corporate banking relationships with existing and new international asset manager clients.

Fenton previously held roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan where he was responsible for growing the NBFI franchises and providing corporate banking product solutions to clients.

Commenting on his appointment, Andrew Fenton said: “Barclays NBFI team has ambitious growth plans making this an exciting time to be joining the team. I look forward to leveraging the strength of the bank’s platform and brand to deliver best in class financial product solutions to suit our clients’ needs.”
