Re-launched deal to run alongside current 20 months offer to offer more choice

From today, Barclaycard is re-introducing its 18 month 0% balance transfer offer for new Barclaycard Platinum customers. The re-launched deal will be available alongside Barclaycard’s record breaking 20 month 0% balance transfer offer, which has been available since mid-March. Prospective customers can choose the best product for their needs from these two market leading deals available from Barclaycard.

Both the 18 and 20 month balance transfer offers come with 0% interest on purchases for three months, with typical APRs of 16.9% and 17.9% variable, respectively. The 18 month deal comes with a lower handling fee of just 2.9%.

On both products new Barclaycard Platinum customers wishing to make multiple balance transfers* can also benefit from a 25% reduction in transaction fees on all but the highest balance transfer. For example, a new Barclaycard Platinum customer making a transfer of £3,000 and two subsequent balance transfers of £2,000 will make a total saving of £29 with an effective handling fee of 2.18%.

*The maximum balance transfer permitted is 90% of the total credit limit
